The Alpha Kappa Chapter of Beta Pi Sigma Sorority, Inc. was established on September 14, 2019 in Rockville, Maryland. We were the first chapter to charter in the DMV area. We’ve worked hard to become a known entity in our community by stepping out and providing scholarships, community service, our time and talents to benefit children and their families in Montgomery county.
Regionally we are a part of the East | Midwest | South region which encompasses the areas of Chicago, Il, New Orleans, LA, Rockville, MD, Atlanta, GA and Washington, DC, we are looking forward to adding even more chapters to our region, so stay tuned.
Nationally our sorority was established in 1945 in Los Angeles, California, we are a Business and Professional sorority, our motto is “Youth Takes Priority”. We have chapters in Southern California, Northern California, Nevada, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Georgia and District of Columbia.
